ABOUT STEVE
Steve, the regional winner of the nationally acclaimed Colgate Country Showdown, has been creating a name for himself in the Illinois Valley and Chicago. Steve tries to draw from a number of artists in various areas in the rock spectrum. Vocals and guitar playing inspired by Ryan Adams, with sound textures inspired by the Smashing Pumpkins and Beck. He’s been playing music since he was 6, started writing as a Marine in Iraq, headed a band for three years while attending SIU, and is now a full time solo artist in Chicago.
